April was a good busy, productive month for me! I swear April flew by! I am learning so much at work, and I’m always excited to learn new things. I also am trying to find new ways to make this blog better! This blog is always on my mind. In any spare time, I am making new posts or thinking of more creative things to add to the blog. I’ve also been apartment searching. It is so hard to find a place where I am currently living. Everything always seems to be full, so I hope something comes available. I also have been on a weight gain journey, that has been extremely successful. I hope to be at my goal by May. With everything I had going on during April, I managed to notice a few favorites.

Neutrogena Water Boost Gel has been my friend all month. My skin has been going through some changes due to new products my dermatologist gave me. I wanted to keep my skincare routine as simple as possible, so I found this in my bathroom. This moisturizer is so lightweight but does the job flawlessly. I can count on it to keep me from getting oily but keep me moisturized in my dry spots.

I purchased this book along with 5 others that have this poetic self-love theme. I gravitated towards this one first. I absolutely loved it. It is a great black woman empowering self-love book. I could have read it in one day, but I like to savor it and take my time for days I need the inspiration the most.

This month I finally was able to schedule an appointment to go to the dermatologist. I talked about the visit in a recent post. I really am looking forward to having clearer skin. I was giving two products for my face and pills for my back acne. I am thinking about going back sooner than the 3-month update because I really don’t want to wait for the pills to work on my back. I am willing to use cremes, washers, etc on my back to get rid of back acne. Have you used any products to get rid of your back acne? I would really like to know your secrets! My skin is already improving so well. I went most of the month without any surprise pimples until the end of the month. The dark marks are also slowly disappearing, which is also exciting! I hope to have completely clear skin by the end of May! I also have been extremely inspired by my weight gain. I started sometime in March, a journey to gain up to 115-120 lbs. If you know me, you know I’ve been 95 lbs for a majority of my life. I can never gain weight. I did some research and found something that gives me the appetite I need to keep the weight on. It has worked so well, and I am so committed to gaining this weight now. I hope to at my goal weight by sometime May!
