May was a great month overall, for me. I really have been working hard in my career as well as looking at new avenues for my blog and other endeavors. I officially moved into my new apartment, and I have the best view! I have easy access to work and food markets. I hope you find my favorites this month interesting, and lets put into fruition great accomplishments for the month of June!

I am loving so many right now. It was extremely hard to choose, but with no doubt, I had to pick this one.

As some of you know or may not know, I moved into my apartment earlier this month. The move was dreadful, what move isn’t? My long couch couldn’t fit in my apartment door, so all I have in my living room is a love seat. I’m in a deep search for accent chairs for my living room. I really don’t want to look for another couch, to be disappointed that it won’t fit again. So if you guys know of any furniture places that have affordable pieces, please let me know! I’m also looking for a vanity chair.

I really wasn’t loving any new movies this month, but very well fell in love with some of my all-time favorites. There are two, and I have to mention them both. I can’t mention one without the other because I saw them in the same week, and they made me look at life differently. I know, enough of the dramatics. These movies are Place Beyond The Pines & Mud. There are some of the most underrated movies during their release, but definitely a must see! Place Beyond The Pines is available on Netflix! Not to mention that, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes “met” each other on this movie and have been together since. They also have a kid (or two) together! You can really see the chemistry between the two during this movie.

Dare I say, coconut oil? I really didn’t have a favorite product this month because my hair is still going through a phase, and I’m trying to figure it out along with it trying to figure itself out. I really have been relying on coconut oil to solve all my problems. And it never fails me!

My favorite beauty product is my current skincare moisturizer, Mario Badescu Hydro Moisturizer with Vitamin C. I actually got this moisturizer as a sample from a purchase and wasn’t too fast try it because I have oily skin. I mentioned before that I have been using two prescription products for my skin, and those really dry out my skin in certain areas. The areas, in particular, are around the mouth, nose, and chin. They get so dry sometimes that it causes dry patches and even came be painful. When I came across this moisturizer, I thought I’d give it a try.

This month FLEW by! I swear, can you believe it’s almost half of 2017?! I know I can’t. This month I didn’t have much inspiration, honestly. I was crazy busy with work, and barely had time to think creatively. But with the disorganization that I have found myself in, I really have been thinking of making plans out for myself. Weekly, monthly, or maybe even daily plans. It will help me keep track of goals and plans I have for myself for work, this blog, and any other long-term plans. So, I really want to work on that so I can have more inspiration in month’s to follow. I have really found myself overwhelmed with everything from work and not giving myself room for anything else. As an artist, we struggle sometimes. And although it’s nothing like I went through earlier part of this year, I don’t want to get back to that place. So here’s to organized planning!
