I must say I was pleasantly surprised about this product. I’ve noticed with a lot of moisturizers that they are thick in consistency and don’t provide as much slip throughout the hair. This moisturizer from Carol’s Daughter is completely unbelievable! When I squeezed a good amount in my hand, I instantly realized it was watery based. This is EXTREMELY important to recognize because most moisturizers are cream based, hence the thick consistency. I feel this moisturizer penetrates the hair shaft very well, and maintains the moisture in the hair. It also is very lightweight, and not sticky like some moisturizers are. The smell is fairly light, and doesn’t linger long. One thing that I can appreciate about this moisturizer is that it is a leave-in conditioner as well. After testing a good bit of products, I normally need three different products when styling my hair: 1) Leave-in Conditioner/Detangler (hoping that it does both) 2) Moisturizer 3) Styler. It helps a lot to reduce the amount of products with it being a leave-in and moisturizer and helps prevent product buildup.

Ratings and Comments:
I can contest to the product doing exactly as it says and would recommend to anyone who has problems with retaining moisturize. Although this is a fairly new product (at the time of writing this post) to stash of many products, I believe this will forever a favorite!

I give this product a 5 out of 5.
