Review:
I found this while browsing in Dirt Cheap. I was super excited because I had been wanting to try this product for a while, but the price really held me from trying it. I got it super cheap at Dirt Cheap, and I inspected it as I normally do for beauty products I find at Dirt Cheap. Since its super hard for me to find curl defining products, I was expecting high expectations of this product because of the nothing but great reviews. After washing out deep conditioner and on soaking wet hair, I applied this product. I normally apply my all time favorite DevaCurl No-Comb Detangler before combing/detangling out my hair with the styler and it helps activate my curls. I noticed that this product is more for ladies with or who wants longer defined curls. The product did a great job at defining my hair in the front which is where my curls are the loosest. When I look towards the back and my tightest more curly parts of my hair, it failed to deliver like I expect it would. Although reading the description on the website, it does say that it helps curls “hang better”, which explains that. I also noticed an EXTREME hold with the product. I mentioned in my ORS Curl Boosting Jelly and ORS Curl Defining Creme  that the duo resulted in a little crunch of the hair, and I said that it wasn’t a bad enough crunch to matter for me. In comparison, I would have to say that the crunch of this product is way heavier and it’s a bit bothersome. In the front of my hair where the product worked the best, the harder the crunch was on the hair. It was really not flattering, especially because I love to touch my hair. I did not use this for a protective style, just as a wash and go.

Ratings and Comments:
This is a pretty good product for beauties with looser hair patterns, I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who has 3C and there on. I do believe this would be good for protective styles; it would be great for maintaining the style with a great hold and fighting frizz.

I give this product a 4 out of 5 because I wasn’t completely satisfied with the results. I wish it would better define each type of hair instead of looser curl patterns.
