How it claims to work:
Creamy shea butter is whipped into this hydrating mask blend along with rich coconut and macadamia oils help deeply quench, nourish, and soften strands to get your hair back to looking healthy. If your hair is feeling extra dry, use as a leave in treatment on wet hair to deeply condition strands. (Source:

I was excited about this new inexpensive brand “Maui Moisture”. I discovered the brand while working at Ulta Beauty. I slowly started to try these products, and I eventually came across this mask. I didn’t know what to expect. The first impression is that the texture is creamy but has a watery base. As I applied it to my hair, it instantly became more water like than a heavy cream. The slip and glide through the hair is amazing! I was able to detangle my hair while applying this conditioner, which is pretty impressive for my hair. I instantly noticed a difference in my hair’s texture when applying. I also added coconut oil to give even more nourishment. My hair felt extremely hydrated after I left this mask in for about 1 or 2 hours. I haven’t found a deep conditioner like this one in a while. I continued to use my old faithful holy grails because the newest deep conditioners I’ve tried haven’t been up to par. I think this will forever be a favorite because it changed my struggling hair texture to a more manageable smooth texture.

Ratings and Comments:
Absolutely love this hair mask! I would recommend for any hair types or anyone dealing with texture issues.

I give this product a 5 out of 5.
