How it claims to work:

Our Babassu Oil Mint Deep Conditioner infuses hair with protein and moisture to restore dry and damaged hair. Babassu Oil is derived from an Amazonian palm fruit that is high in sterols and tocopherols to improve hair and scalp health. Our product is enriched with fatty acids and natural oils that help reduce frizz and fly-aways. This deep penetrating conditioner is made with complex amino acids from wheat, soy and other natural ingredients that help restore moisture to damaged and dry hair. Safe to use on color treated hair. Made with certified organic ingredients.

I was very skeptical about this deep conditioner going in. My first impression was that it was way too small to be a deep conditioner for the price. I typically am pretty heavy-handed with products, so I really could’ve used this entire jar in one use. Gratefully, this product has AMAZING slip. The conditioner isn’t as thick as most deep conditioners, so it easily slipped and slide through my hair. It also almost turns more watery as you apply it; that’s a good sign because that means the product is made mainly of water. I used about half the jar, so I can get two uses out of one jar. After using it, my hair was very silky, smooth, and manageable. I wouldn’t say the moisture retention was any different than any other sub-par deep conditioners I’ve tried. It is a great deep conditioner that you need to use when you don’t have time to deep condition overnight. It does a great job of getting the job done without the time.

Ratings and Comments:
This is a great conditioner that provides good amounts of moisture to the hair. I would totally rave about this product, I just wish you got more product for the price you pay. I would totally recommend this deep conditioner, nevertheless.

I give this product a 4 out of 5.
