So, I purchased this when Mielle Organics had a sale at Sally Beauty. All of their products excluding the hair vitamins were on sale for $10. Perfect opportunity to get myself some products from the brand since I had never tried anything before (as well as purchase for the giveaway I had during this time). I used their deep conditioner, which I loved, see the review here. I used this curl cream along with their mousse for my protective style cocktail. I was expecting this to be great at defining my curls and providing great moisture to my very dry hair. Well, I was very disappointed. I had to force myself to continue to use this throughout my hair. I didn’t want to stop using it and it wouldn’t be a fair trial of the product. I tried it for a twist out, and I was overall satisfied with the outcome. I honestly think that was because of the Mint Almond Oil (which is absolutely amazing). I believe the oil really did the job of giving my hair some needed therapy for my dry hair. I felt no differences in my hair when I used this curl cream. I expect curl creams to transform the texture of my hair. I expect it to make it smooth and easy to define curls, and I just don’t think this product did that at all.

Ratings and Comments:
I was really disappointed in this product lacking to perform on my hair. I felt and saw no differences in my hair when I used this product. I expect curl cream to be moisturizing and give the hair some type of definition. I really caught myself wondering why I was using this product on my hair while protective styling.

I give this product a 2 out of 5.
