Out of all Mixed Chick’s products, I was least informed about this product. I heard good things about their leave-in conditioner the most and was interested in how this hair silk serum would work on my hair. I first applied this to wet hair because I like to apply an oil to my hair while it’s able to absorb moisture the easiest, which is when it is wet. I also applied after it dried. I noticed more of an effect when it was dry because it is a hair serum and not a pure oil. Hair serums tend to help the overall appearance of the hair instead of long-term effects. I personally have discovered that for my hair. I liked this serum because it was very lightweight and not sticky at all. I was able to use a good amount at a time. The only disadvantage would be the amount of product you get. I have thick, long hair, and it was very easy to use this product up. I also have a heavy hand on all my products, so you can use it at your discretion.

Ratings and Comments:
Pleasantly surprised at how much I actually liked this serum. It had a great smell and made my hair look and feel alive as compared to dry, brittle looking hair. I especially loved how it didn’t make my hair sticky or overly shiny like some serums tend to do.

I give this product a 5 out of 5.
