I first came across this product while working at Ulta Beauty. This was during the time OGX released several new collections, and it seemed that everyone was releasing new products or new brands were surfacing. I’ve always independently purchased products to try, but since this collection was permanent I wasn’t so quick to try this when it first released. I heard good things about it from customers while working at Ulta, and sometimes referred people to try it. I didn’t know what to expect, but I did have some high hopes. I purchased it while it was on sale at CVS for $5.99, and my hair had been doing its own thing and I was quite confused at what that was. Trying this shampoo, I looked to see how my hair felt after shampooing compared to before washing. I would describe that as “soft”, and that is about it. My hair felt somewhat refreshed after using it but nothing too special. I got the same results from using the OGX Coconut Milk Shampoo. I think I expected a higher standard in comparison to the Coconut Milk Shampoo. I really think you could use one or the other.

Ratings and Comments:
Recently dealing with dry, damaged hair, I was hoping to get some relief when trying this product. I think its a great shampoo, but really no different than OGX Coconut Milk collection.

I give this product a 4 out of 5.
