The gel was the most interesting product I wanted to try out of the new Ouidad Advanced Climate Control collection. I didn’t know what to expect from it. The first impression was it was a little more on the watery side than any gel I’ve ever tried, which was not a problem for me. The gel glided through SO easy! It felt like water gliding through my hair. I instantly became impressed. My hair felt really moisturized while applying this. I could feel that the gel was made of good ingredients because of my hair’s ability to maintain the moisture. A little of this product also goes a long way. I believe because it was on the watery side, I was able to use less product and evenly distribute the product.  My curls popped really nice after brushing my hair to ensure equal distribution of the product. I really could appreciate the shine and care of my hair because of the gel. Another amazing observance was the product was not sticky at all. Almost every gel I have tried leaves a sticky residue on my hands or a little on my hair. The gel was so water-like, that it did not leave a sticky residue and clean up was easy! The gel’s hold is mild to medium, all depending on your usage amount. My hair didn’t have a crunchy feel, but more of a mild hold to keep a style.

Ratings and Comments:
A great gel for someone who needs to maintain moisture. The gel is water-like, which helps my hair’s lack of moisture problem out a lot. I could appreciate the non-sticky residue as well.

I give this product a 5 out of 5.
