I bought this conditioner while working at Ulta. It was SheaMoisture’s newest line in a long time and being the product junkie I am, I was super excited to try it. Around the time this came in stores, I was at the end of my transitioning stage. I was quite frankly, frustrated with my hair’s texture. Since this claimed to be a “rescue” for damaged, distressed hair, I needed this in my life to stay sane. So I thought. The product’s smell isn’t my favorite, and I can’t really describe the smell. It’s unlike anything I’ve smelled before, but some people like the smell. The texture is pretty buttery, like the SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque. The mask didn’t have very much slip through my hair. I felt as though it sat on top of my hair and didn’t penetrate it well. Even after leaving the product on for an extended period of time, I didn’t feel or see a significant difference in my hair.

Ratings and Comments:
I wasn’t satisfied overall from the results of this deep conditioner. I expected a little more. I probably won’t be purchasing this again. I give this product a little credit for having the nourishments it does carry, but I need a better execution.

I give this product a 2 out of 5.
