I wasn’t expecting too much out of this deep conditioner, so it was a matter of if I will like it or not. I haven’t heard very much about the SheaMoisture Superfruit Complex collection. I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing. I got this fairly cheap on clearance at Sally’s, so it was the perfect time to give it a try. The slip wasn’t amazing; I definitely have had a better slip in other deep conditioners. I did pair this with coconut oil because when I applied it I felt it wasn’t going to do much for my hair alone. I normally determine if I apply coconut oil on how the conditioner feels on my hair by itself. I didn’t feel confident in it, so I did apply it. The coconut oil gives it extra slip and helps the conditioner penetrate better. I left the conditioner on overnight and washed it out that next afternoon. My hair was silky and detangled. The deep conditioner does do a good job at nourishing the hair. I can’t really confirm that it does all 10 of the things it claims to do. I can confirm that it did do the following for my hair: deep condition, somewhat hydrate, nourish, & soften. The others are I believe comes with continued use of the deep conditioner.
